Is it possible to disable all the electronic sensors in my VZ? They're very frustrating, forcing me to take the car to Holden for very minor things, like loose wires.
You don't. They are there for a purpose and without doubt, to provide a level of safety and advance warning of something wrong that requires attention or service, even if it is a loose wire (might also benefit from a more thorough going-over rather than just fixing a "loose wire".)
Really, it's about as sensible as the recent post somewhere here asking how to disable the ABS sensors....

Let's just hope nothing else will go wrong... my dad's got a 2008 WM Caprice and its never given him any trouble since the day he bought it. My VZ on the other hand keeps us all tense... there's nearly always something wrong with it, can't ever drive with peace of mind...
If they are disabled, the car can't try and fix itself, or prevent itself from further damge.
Alright I'd really like to know... how reliable is the VZ provided it is driven well, regular servicing etc?
The only Exec in Saudi that's now properly badged!
