    Default Car dying

Awhile ago my car started idling rough, then it had a slight 'grumble' I took it to a mechanic and he said it was missing on number 6. That the injector was dirty, he said he will fix it there and then.
He pulled the intake manifold off and exposed alot of black sludge, he said that was part of the problem and hit it with alot of carby cleaner.
Now my car is barely running. In first gear, foot flat to floor it takes around 20seconds to get from 900rpm to 3000rpm.
I have a feeling his carby cleaner was the problem, is there any way I can fix this? He charged me already for this and said it will take another $800 to fix it now. And I dont want to pay for it to be fixed again.

Take it to another mechanic. The first one seems incompetent. Then bill him for the original work!

I have managed to fix alot of the problem. Number 6 is still failing. But other then that its good. Had to strip the motor down clean it then rebuild.
Next step is the injector. I seriously dont know why I didnt just do it myself half the mechanics in Darwin dont know much at all.

I will do a write up on it, I have some pictures of the sludge before the mechanic hit it with carby cleaner. And I will pull the engine down again to show how I fixed it.
