    Default VZ D.R.L's (Help?)

    Hey everyone,
I'm new to this site and have just recently brought some drl's for my '06 Vz.
Just wondering if anyone could PLS guide us through the installation process with pictures too if possible .
I need to have them running during the day with h/lights off, and off at night with the h/lights on.

    cheers boys

I can't help you specifically mate, but i am almost 100% certain this has been covered on here.
Try the search button? I remember some bloke covering it step by step in a vy/vz.
If not, i'm sure someone can lend a hand.

nah man no wiring diagram. Brought lights from ebay, only instuctions given were to wire positive to postive (great help).
I've asked a sparky at work for some help and he's given me the rundown on it all, so hopefully I should be right

Any other bits of info anyone can chip in would be greatly appreciated (Y)

Change over relay hooked to an accessories on circuit to power the lights whenever the key is to the acc/on position, and headlight circuit to turn them off as soon as they're turned on.

Sounds like you've already got the good guff though.
    I aim to misbehave.

Oh thats not a bad way of doing it, I never heard of that way before...cheers mate

What i'm planning to do though is use a 12v relay i brought from work:
** earth out the led lights to chassis, connect them to relay
** connect wire from fuse box that goes on with ignition to relay
** connect a wire to the relay from the headlight switch
** and then earth outt relay

    What use think??

yes that would work, just make sure the relay you have has an 87a terminal which the led's will need to go to

when i installed mine i took the rubber stuff away from the positive and negative parker wires in the headlight then soldered the led wires onto them, so when i turn the lights on they come on with the parkers..

probably a bad way to do it.. but it worked lol

Just wondering if anyone has ideas on how to install the strips without removing front bumper and what type of adhesive to use?

    cheers!
