Default HSV Z Series Clubsport R8

Looking at trading my 2005 VZ Commodore Executive for a 2006 Z series Clubby R8.
The cars going for $33,000 comes with OTR cold air intake, full di filippo stainless exhaust system, custom mafless tune, sunroof and roof mounted dvd for the rear passengers and the car has 80,000 kms on the taco.

Was just wondering if anyone has had the same model and has had any problems with it or even anyone with a LS1, took it for a test drive and it sounded and went great just looking for opinions i guess, any help would be much appreciated. Cheers.

its an auto, not overly happy with that but auto is faster off the line and with the tune and that has brought the fuel consumption down to reasonable levels, yeah thats it hey mate, hopefully all my finances will hury the #### up and i can get it, insurance is gonna be a bitch but spose thats the price you pay for a HSV haha, cheers man i will always loved teh Z series since it was released finally license and money with nothing better to spend on

You won't go wrong with a HSV Z.
It is a little expensive but it does come with the usual bolt ons (otr, mafless tune, difilippo exhaust etc) and those alone would cost you anything from $3-5000, the exhaust fitted alone is $3000+.
Also it has a few sort after options in the sunroof and dvd player.
I've had no problems from my Z and mine has nearly 120k klms.
When and if you get it change all the fluids, water, engine, auto trans, diff and brakes unless they have been done and documented.
GO FOR IT, you know you want it.

i think you can get z series HSV on carsales for around the 20k mark. just buy one of those and do the mods yourself, will make you feel better that you have done the work to it as well
