After locking up and some time later, hours, the radio is belting out tunes and if I haven't switched off the wipers they are dragging the windscreen dry too.
It doesn't happen all the time just a hand full of times, but you have to switch every thing off, before turning the key off and locking up.
I'm guessing the barrel is on the way out, I will try a bit of graphite powder first, but has this happened to any body else or have I got a poltergist living under the dash. Ghost busters I hear you.
Cheers,
Peewee
and good work every body.
Hmmm. A VZ beaut-ute with new, improved levels of automation... .
Cool. Way cool.
Radio can normally be turned on by pressing ON/OFF switch irrespective of lock/unlock running or no state, so maybe button is sticky?
Wiper control should be off and remain off; I cannot imagine how they would operate unless the stalk is in the switched-on position. But pointedly: dragging wipers on a dry screen will scratch it. This glitch really does need urgent intervention.
