    Default Service instructions

    not sure if its illegal but if anyone wants i can post the instructions on how to get rid of the service message on your vehicle (VZ executive) that dealers i think use?

    give me $20 and il do it hold the mode and set, turn the key to acc, hold set for 10 sec, and it should be all good

    Probably anywhere from $150 as they will only usually do it when "they" service the car.
    But as others have said this procedure has been around for ages.

    Removal of the Service Reminder message is not illegal. The Dealers / Techies program it in as a courtesy, even if people think of it as otherwise. And the instructions on how to do it are readily available here on the forum. As others have said here, it's been around literally since Nelson lost an eye. Go search...

    Done as part of service.

    People ring up all the time asking how to do it and they are told over the phone free of charge.
