Also do you know if the badge fits perfectly? Etc any help would be greatfull,

on removal of the holden badge, do a 360 degree turn, take a good look at yourself and reaffix it to the car, it will be a perfect fit

Use a length of fishing line and use a sawing motion behind the badge to remove. Just make sure the line is lubed with a bit of polish. Then use some prepwash to remove any left over adhesive. The Chev badge will use the same location holes as the Holden badge so easy swap.

It helps if you heat it up with a hair dryer first. I found that the locating pins on my badge didn't line up, so i had to break one off. Orange power (it's a cleaning spray) gets rid of the sticky black stuff quite well too.

The lass I bought my ute off has these damn Chev badges on it; I'd rather not spend any money on getting the lion back.
    But I don't like them.

Ignore the intellectually challenged folk that think they have the right to decide what people do to their own property and offer an opinion that wasnt asked for.

Leave in the sun for a while or use a hairdryer as stated. I used a small screwdriver wrapped in a rag to pry the badge away then peeled it off with my fingers. Then just pick off all the glue.

word of advice for you surge.fitness
On the online world where people sit behind a screen, you are NOT allowed to have your own taste, and you can ONLY modify your car in the exact same way that everyone else does... this is to ensure that we live in a shit world where everything looks the same.

Because you know, putting a chev badge on a VT to VE with an LS1 and onward makes it look oh so difference to all the other incorrectly badged holdens...

To the OP, do what you want, it's your car so it's about doing what YOU like with it.

But you will cop some comments for it because a chev badge doesn't belong anywhere near a holden.

hahah jesters is spot on. there are more wankers out there with chev badges then holden badges,

but at the end of the day its the owners opinion of what they think looks good, and probably there way of letting the world know they have a GM v8, cause the otherwise no one would know,

but in saying that, its our right to laugh at there stupidity

Yeah, initiation by fire to the forum... lol.

Potentially the only worse opening topic would be "How many coils can I cut form my springs".

Those usually get about the same response and banter as chev badge threads.

What those offering retarded analagies are forgetting is that the chev grilles and badges are made and designed for the commodore as its sold elsewhere as a chev lumina so the calls with ford and lambo badges just make you look retarded.
