Default VZ beep on door locking

My sv6 has started to beep the horn 3 times whenever i am locking the car up, i know this is mean to advise you that a door is not fully shut but all 4 are and it is beginning to really irritate me, is there some sort of a button which is depressed when you shut the door which might not be getting fully pressed? anyone had similar issues???

    hi
dads vy had that problem aswell, its one of the four door knobs not functioning rite, so it does that to notify u that the car isnt fully locked.
have a look at all four knobs and observe wether they go down when u lock the car or not.

Push the up or down arrow just after the system check, go through and find the setting that says door lock or something, setting should be on ' indicators and horn ' or something like that. Just put it on indicators.

nah thats the normal locking with the horn setup,
by the sounds of it, in this case its 3 short beeps, which means something is not shut properly

If it's an intermittent problem. Rip it out and clean it with some Contact Cleaner. Has worked for me in the past.

Mine is/was the rear passenger door and only seems to play up if the car has been left out in the rain, maybe water is getting inside that particular door actuator.
But when it does happen I just activate the door opening and closing a couple of times and usually fixes itself.
