Bosch O2 sensors for VZ LS1

I recently purchased 2 bosch O2's 0258005703 and went to replace my VZ LS1 O2's but the connection is different - also the bosch online catalogue for O2's is severly out of date

the part shop claims it is a ORDER IN I can't return them - I won't be using them anymore
the photo is the connection I need if anyone knows the part # it would be a massive help - I do prefer bosch rather than the standard GM




part number above is for VTII,VX,VY LS1 and supercharged 6 VS-VY if anybody want to take them off me

Actually I think you will find that a lot of engine electrical components and sensors that may be branded by, or supplied under, GM or AC Delco, are actually Bosch manufactured items.

For example, I recently replaced the O2 sensors on my VZ V6. On examination of the old sensors, there is a Bosch part number & the Bosch logo on them. It was exactly the same for my old spark plugs that I also replaced recently. Although AC Delco are an OEM, a lot of their branded items seem to be sourced from other specialist OEMs like Bosch. I'm fairly sure this is also the case with other vehicle OEMs like ford, where their motorcraft lines are just re-branded from other OEMs.

Accordingly, I would fairly confident that any GM branded items would be no better or worse than other brands.

Generally with o2 sensors they're made to fit multiple makes and models, and unless you buy a specific direct-fit, you will need to do some extra installation work, for example cutting off your old plug and wiring it up to the new sensor unit.

The one you are showing in the pic is the front O2 connector for a VZ fitted with 4 x O2's
When fitted with 4 they have 2 at the front (infront of the cats) with the square connector usually quite expensive and 2 after the cats (same as the early O2's with the flat double figure of 8) 4 wire connector (the far cheaper O2's)
The front O2's (which insidently are exactly the same sensor with different plug) are the emmisions sensors and the 2 rear ones are to tell the computer if the cats are doing there job.
Most tuners turn them off especially when doing mafless tunes and if the exhaust and cats have been changed.

Yep have to agree. That's exactly what found. New set of platinum plugs in GM packaging, when removed were labelled Bosch. Also fitted aftermarket front O2 sensors in the 190Kw which were likewise branded Bosch. The only sacrifice was that I paid about half the price

Your kind of right surfwagon but wrong my VZ has only 2 sensors being LS1 - L76 VZ's on the other hand have 4 sensors due to emissions changing with those models

Found this O2 in a pdf has exact plug type but I'm unsure of the length of wire does anyone think this could be the one???

well i ordered some for my vy ss although one wasnt the right one so i will get that sent back
