    Default VZ Adventra front brakes

I have an Adventra V8 wagon that I need new front brakes on. I have looked at hopper stoppers and other similar suppliers. I recently contacted RDA as they said they have a kit for the VZ Addy using VE components. It appears that even though the VE kit uses a larger disc (322 as opposed to 304) the brake pad is actually smaller in area. has anyone got any experience with the RDA kit or any similar kits. I dont want to fork out any money only to go back wards. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

The pad is slightly smaller, but you have better braking efficiency on a larger diameter rotor.

For reference, I do the VE kit for $795.

Are you wanting to upgrade for more performance?

Just trying to get an idea what you are trying to achieve.

Yes I am after better performance. As you know the adventra is quite heavy. I need to replace the front discs anyway, and as they are a different offset and size to the standard VZ, they are quite expensive. So I figured i might as well put a bigger set in, and using standard VE units, will be cheaper in the long run. There are a few kits available that use the corvette type caliper, as was used in the HSV Avalanche, but these are very expensive, around $2000. The RDA kit seems quite new, uses readily available bits, and costs about $900
I spent a heap of money on a brake kit for a VZ a few months ago after promising it would fit, only to find out that it wouldn't fit the adventra. I eventually got a refund after heaps of phone calls and threats of legal action, so before I make that mistake again, just want some feed back first.
