Coolant leaks problem VZ SV6

Hi guys, I spotted a coolant leak on the back of the engine in my car just where the engine and the gearbox joins together. To be exact it is on the right hand side of the engine when standing in front of the car, its where Holden sticks there engine serial number decal ( white label ).
I have been keeping an eye out on the coolant level and it seems that my car definetely lost a fair bit of coolant ( I have been topping it out in weekly basis now ).

No overheating issue so far, temp gauge still in 1/4 mark, so please help shed some lights in this, where is the leak coming from, what has gone wrong and what needs to be replaced?
I am due for a coolant flush in the next couple of months and hoping to get this fixed aswell.

Sounds like the thermo housing is leaking. Which is located at the rear of the engine.

Probably best to replace the thermostat during repair.
