noise from wheel and engine

whenever i drive around i get this ticking/tapping noise coming from my wheel, not a nail or anything.. i havent had them balanced or anything if that could be it?

got another noise when i turn my car off too, comes from the engine its a loud hiss noise like when you pull the air pump off a tire or something, any ideas?

Im having similar trouble with my engine as well mate, for some reason when ever i turn my car off it makes a high pitched noise.. I had it looked at by a transmission specialist today and they were unable to narrow the problem down. He did say however that it could be the transmission pump.. I did notice when driving with the active select on and waiting at the lights, the engine noise was coming on and off, but when i turned the active select off the noise immediately disappeared.
