    yes and yes

It needs to be from a 5.7 litre V8 though, the 6 litres were different.

Otherwise it pretty much bolts up, you just need to make a bracket (I bent some rod) and weld it to the floor for the second pipe to hold onto.

You'll see where it goes, its just a mirror image of whats already on it, but obviously it doesnt have it on the drivers side from factory.

Just need to grab some flange gaskets and a second exhaust hanger rubber from holden for the rear.

There is a post somewhere here from when Andyman did it on his wagon, there may even be one from when others have done it.

As for difference it sounds different and makes a nice note wide open throttle, but its still quiet, dead quiet at cruising speeds, no annoying drone.

From personal experience with exhausts, the standard exhaust is by far the best.. i had a custom single 2.5" on for a couple of years. Dont regret it, but... Just recently i got sick of the noise and decided for a change. I scored a $5 standard SV6 Exhaust off ebay, bolted the cat back section on and it was the best decision ever. No noise (Thank God) better power through out and and best of all my fuel consumption has been sitting on 10.2L/100km Avg speed 59.9. travelled about 250km.

I have pacemaker headers with 2.5" pipe, standard (opened) cats.. If i recommend an exhaust. It's this..
    Life starts at 200km/h

    Rubbish! No mod required.

Bolt it up without the extra hanger. It will hold. In the long term you can get another hanger installed for peace of mind if you choose.

Don't know where you get the idea my post was intended for you. Clearly, it was not.

im just saying I like to do my mods properly when I do mine, wasnt out to start a fight.

Your better off welding that second bracket on to support the weight of the muffler. I guess the rubber hangar at the back is really up to you but for a couple of bucks the rubbers worth, and it already has the mounting points.

Its only a couple of bucks worth of bits from Holden and Bunnings, and about half an hours worth of work to secure it properly.

Blake - it might be the 6 litre exhaust he's thinking of, I know their flanges are different BUT the 5.7 litre bolts straight on

It's only the 6L Clubsport that is different, the standard VZ 6L is the same.

$150 for a system that gets chucked.....I have a VX Clubsport system sitting here at the moment, the only reason it is still here is I haven't been to the tip yet....
