    Default Help me decide wether I Shuld get super low or ultra low for my Wl caprice. Post pics

    Hey guys,
    I'm going to be lowering my car tomorrow morning.
    Front and rear Pedders low ryder suspension with king springs.

    Can anyone advice me on wether I Should go super lows 40-50mm or ultra lows 50-60mm.

    For the spring should I choose the SL or HD eg KHFL- 47Sl or KHFL - 47HD for the front and KHRL-46SL or KHRL- 46HD for the rear?

    If any one can post up pics of there Vy Vz specially WL WK STATO OR CAPRICE with description of whats it lowered on, that will help me decide.

    Your input will be appreciated.

    im lowering a VY II Berlina LS1 tomorrow with KHFL-47HD (superlow) and KHRL-46SLHD (ultralow according to kings part listing)

    See I'm not sure what the difference Is between KHFL-47HD and KHFL-47SL. Any one know the difference?

    Anyone got some pics to post up for me and other to get an idea of what the ride heights look like?

    If u want it low ultra lows in the rear superlows in the front or if u want it to be slammed get sssl for the rear ssl for the front

    Well i Ended up lowering my Limo on ULTRA LOWS this morning well yesterday morning i shuld say. (just got back from work).

    I went With pedders Shocks and struts Rear model# GSR-9095
    and KING SPRINGS as i couldnt get my hands on a decent priced set of pedders springs.
    MODEL #s:
    KHFL-47SL & KHRL-46SL.

    Now these are considered ultra lows for the WK WL caprice statesman range according to the kings website however they are classified as just Super lows for the vy vz range this is because off the weight difference in both cars between VZ and WL. So do becarefull when choosing your springs.

    Ok well enough Talk from me.

    i have attached both before and after pics so those wanting to see the difference these spring will make to your car can have a better idea and also close up and far photos so you can observe what your car will look like from a distance and from close.

    Well hear i am chatter boxing again. lol :P

    I hope i have helped those out there planing to lower their cars and others.

    Good choice!!!!!!!!! I want a phantom WL exactly like this one (v8 though minus the LEDs and chev badging). If only i could afford it I can only dream!!!! Looks killer man

    i would love to have an 8 but i gotta wait till i get my full license. The leds look sweet in real life. lol

    Why Dream Bro, I Used to think that too. These arent that expensive anymore. The VZ Calias go for more suprisingly You can get oa stto for as cheap as $7,500 to $24,000.
    A Decent one with about 150ks will cost u bout $12000 to 16000.

    Oww, I don't know about taking a loan, see if you can wait abit before u decide to take a loan or ull be paying for the car almost twice for the interest. Lol
    Sit down with ur bank and do a few calculations and from there youl be able to determine if it's worth it.

    I'd never buy a new Caprice they lose value horribly quickly...but you do get a lot of car for the money when a few years old. I have WL Caprice 12/05 with 5.7L and paid $23000 with 64000km's. Car is in impeccable condition..apart from my leaking exaust which may just be a build up of condensation.

    You really need to get rid of either the Holden badge off the bonnet or the Chev grill. The car looks like it has some sort of cross dressing identity crisis going on.

    IMO he needs to add a Pontiac badge as well.

    Far out.. I only just realised it was a V6. Honestly, piss the Chev grill off and the LEDs and it would be Mickey Mouse.

    I Will be putting in the chrome door handels when i change my speakers at the same time.
    They work well on the car as they suit the rest of the chrome trims.
