Questions about vz sv6 ute

instead of starting another thread though ill just modify this one. im wanting to lower the ute but not sure how low to go. Ive looked around on the forum but i can only find information which is helpful but picures would be awsome. anyone got pics? also let me know whats prings and rim size if you could.

Hey, just purchased a black manual vz sv6 ute and have some questions:

It came with a upgraded sound system from factory and a 6.5 inch sub. anyone done custom installs for a decent sub and amp?

Hardlid: it has a double hump lid but has eaten through the paint on one spot close to the cabin. anyone esle have this problem?

Springs: it has standard sv6 rims but what will make it sit tyer height all around?

ABS FAULT: only sometimes it displays the fault when starting the car.

Would appreciate if anyone had any information...

Short answer, yes. Plenty of people have stereo's in the ute. How, i dont know i have never owned a ute, sorry.

Peddars Grays will give you a nice comfortable ride height. I think SL/SSL are the equivalent.

ABS FAULT: only sometimes it displays the fault when starting the car.
Take this one to holden for a scan, ABS is awesome and god help you if it doesnt work. Have you tried Resetting the ECU? This MAY help (Big May)

i heard that pedders grays / super lows were the same heigh as the factory sv6 suspension ( FE2 ) anyone able to clear this up...

also resetting the ecu - disconnect the battery for 3 or so minutes or you can pull the ecu fuse out from under the bonnet in your fuse box!!

the bloke who sold me the car said it had fe2 suspension but the springs are red so im guessing there pedders...not stock. shocks seem to be the same.

ill try re-setting the ecu tomorrow night and see how i go.

anyone able to point me in the direction or know anyone who has done a sub/amp install or knows where to get a box?

yeah your right mate...my battery was a bit flat but when i replaced it the abs light stopped

Jet Black XHP 19" Rims, love them!! Peddars is SL or SSL i believe
