    Default VZ SS Exhaust Opinions?

Hello all, recently i've got myself a VZ SS and it still has its standard exhaust, which is quiet as all hell.. And since i'm still broke from buying it has anyone had their rear muffler off their Vz ss or heard it on someone elses?

Is it worth the trouble or does it just sound like crap?

Already have a car hoist and was planning on doing it myself so that there is no cost basically. Thanks.

The exhaust on my vy ss has had the rear muffler removed and replaced with 3" pipe. It's not overly loud and sounds quite good IMO.

I replied to a similar thread earlier with this response.

When you are ready, I can do a 2 1/2" twin cat back for $690 shipped. Manta, mandrel bent, front mufflers rear tail pipes, comes with tips.

The system I recommend for the VZ is a twin 2 1/4" into single 3". Yes, it is all mandrel bent. 2 1/4" off front cat pipes, into two straight through glass packed mufflers, merging into a single 3" then into a round 3" straight through glass packed resonator exiting in 3". This one is $495 shipped. Comes with gaskets and a clamp. You will have to get the extra bracket welded to the RHS to hold the front muffler as the exec only has the bracket on the left.
