    Default VZ lowering springs.

    Hey everyone,

looking at getting my VZ exec with stock springs lowered but not sure what springs to get and how much i should get it lowered. I have tried to look for some info on VZ springs i am situated in south australia so i want springs that are low and look good but legal aswell, as i have heard KING SPRINGS SL's are illegal.

    Thanks.

What wheels and tyres do you have on?

Check out the FAQ's section. Under 'lowering'.

I have Kings lows with 18's on mine. I am loath to fit anything lower (although it would look better) because I still manage to wack the front bar way too often. $$$$$.

Still looking at fitting SL's for the rear only. Too much rake for my liking.

I had a 05 Exec. With King springs, SSL on the rear, with SL on the front with CV8 Monaro mags 18" I found that a really good height, Cops didn't look twice, didn't hit anything and still had a good look to it.

As stated in a previous post. Save your bikkies and get all the suspension done properly and together. Springs, shocks, bars, bushes etc.

Only ever had one sticker, and that was for bald tires xP Those springs surpassed the pits here, And for a while the cops were harrassing me, Either cause it was legal, or because its a smallish country town where i live. But then again, did a few trips to perth and no hassle,

And i forgot to say that getting new rear shocks is the way to go, And its not that much more expencive.

i have exactly what hsv453 has. 20" pentagons, 225/35/20 tyres, ultras rear, ssl front. all four guards are rolled and there is no scrubbing at all.
