    Default vz shift timing

hi, i have never been happy with the timing of gear changes on my vz alloytec, i reckon it shifts too fast and doesnt get enough of a rev thus not being able to hear my exhaust scream. i was wondering what are my options to change it?

so your saying it shifts before the rev limiter?

or are you saying it shifts to uickly quickly between gears.. whereas a manual sounds better between gears??

    yeah thought so.

theres nothing you can do except taking you foot off the acclerator between each gear and trying to make it sound like a manual but then again thats a bit wanky IMO

i love coming to a stop and downshifting the gears the burgle sounds awesome.. not trying to tease or anything :P

its not an alloytec, but the wifes VX i sometimes hold in 1st just to really hear it scream, and more often than not bring it back to 2nd and 1st just to hear it crackle n pop on the way down (2.5 lukey cat back) but as far as having it shift too quickly, i hear ya, the work truck is a colorado with an alloytec and i can have my foot to the floor and in powermode and it still shifts somewhat early.(like at 5500 instead of closer to 6500) iv heard that being fly by wire, some cars need to have the sensitivity adjusted in the tune. dont know how true that is or how doable it is tho.

If its the 4 cogger. You can play with the shift points with tuning software.

    Or buy a stick.
