Lowering vz ute

Hey all, im planning on lowering the rear end of my ute with super low king springs and was just wondering if its really necessary to get short shocks and to roll the guards seeing as its not going to end up overly low. Only getting supers because i will eventually have a bit of weights worth of tools in the tub and dont want it scraping everywhere.

Ive got a sv6 ute and planning on going ssl all around but if your just throwing sl's in the back you will be fine. what rims do you have? gaurds dont need to be rolled unless you got some killer offset and shocks are up to you. im gonna do all 4 of my shocks with shorterened ones but obiously you will redudce the travel if you lower it from standard.

I've got 20" ve gts wheels, I dont really know what offset is.. Is it how far the wheels sticks out?
