Question VZ Exec Wagon Fuel Pump

I need to change my Fuel Pump. The car is jittering when accelerating, and the mechanic after saying "it would be better if you just get a new car" said that the issue with the jittering is the fuel pump.

As I know nothing about the mechanics of the car (I'm more into the electrical side), I do not know where to locate the access point for the fuel pump (then I hope it is actually the cause of my issues).

I changed one on my last car (EF Ford), and it was easy to access. But with the VZ Wagon, whats the easiest way to get to it? I'm hoping that I don't have to remove the fuel tank, but if need be, so be it.

    please help....

Not sure. It went in for a diagnostic test. However the reasons for getting a new one are completely different. I just can't replace the car for a few months and hate the fact that when I put my foot down it feels like it'll stall. I was going to change the fuel pump and the fuel filter.

I've been slack, the car hasn't been serviced for nearly 2 years, and i've done over 130,000km in that time. It now has 213,000km on it. It's due for some things to be changed.

The main one I'm not looking forward to is the main rear seal, which I knew may of been an issue.

my GF had the car for about 18 months, while I had a company car. I was that busy, I didn't even think of doing anything to my "poor Commy" as I was under the impression she was doing that. Anyway, I have it back now, and are working on getting it all wonderfully beautiful again. Dam GF and Kids have trashed it.. NOT HAPPY JAN!!!

P.S. I changed the fuel filter, fixed the problem for a while but it's just started coming back again. About to change the spark plugs this weekend, and see how it goes. I've decided to make a list of all the things that are done at each service and work through them, and have it all done. It's just finances are a bit tight, and I'll have to work on it as I get funds.

    WHAT . Lol

First thing on the list Shuld be the oil change that's for sure. And DO NOT use, I repeat do not use any sort of engine flush or else all the sludge build up will block everything and the engine will seize almost immediately.

Let u's now how u u go man.
