    Default Wheel Fitment

Just looking for a new set of wheels for my vz ute. just have a few questions on how big/fat we can go on these. I will be getting the gaurds rolled soon and i was looking at somthing in the 18 to 20 inch. i need to know the highest offset before things start to rub. im going ssl all around as well. anyone know how far i can go before hitting the strut/gaurd?

    appreciate the help

    with 20's, i think its 245/30r20, and 19's are 245/35r19

Iv got 20" x 8 vy sigs on my car.
I was just able to get away with 245/35 on ultralows see pics on my profile for reference in the link below.

If the wheels u buy are 20 x 8.5 it will scrub like crazy. Lol

So to be safe I would advice on getting 225/35 or better 235/35.

Unless you like the very low profile then you can go 245/30
But u will increase the risk of cracking ur rims on mainly rail tracks or pot holes.

^Above info is just from past experience

    Goodluck

I have 8.5" x 19" 45P offset with 245 tyres and there is about 3-5mm clearence to front strut.
The rear tyre used to rub where the rear bumper meets the wheel arch so had to trim some off the top edge of the bumper.
Both of these clearence porblems on a VZ HSV which already have rolled guards (not excessivle rolled though).

Those specs 9.5" with 30P offset will have the wheels sticking out the sides, forget about lowering.
To keep them under the rear guard you need an offset around 42-45P
That offset looks like they come off a BMW 5,6 or 7 series.
The BMW 1&3 series have a 45-48P offset similar to commodore.
