While away over the weekend in the bush a damn animal got under my bonnet and ripped and tore holes in the fabric underneath the bonnet can i just chuck it or is it need so am I best off replacing it???

Its probably best if you keep it, as it would protect the bonnet from too much heat I would imagine.

I could be wrong, But I would rather keep it.

It's only a sound deadening mat. You can safely remove it completely without having to replace it if you don't want to.
