Memory Seat Issues VZ Senator

hey guys. Recently had a flat battery. After changing it my seat memory and the recline function have stopped working. They were both working fine before I had the flat so Im not sure whats changed.

Ive tried disconnecting the new battery aswell and taking out the bcm fuse under the bonnet aswell as the main fuse with still no luck. Its a vz senator. any help appreciated

I think in the dummy guide (sometimes called a manual) it mentions that the memory may be lost on a battery change. I would try reprogramming the positions. Mine does weird stuff every now and then.

There should also be a memory of where the seats and mirrors were last positioned when a key was used. Try setting the seat to a position, locking the car and then unlocking with the other key. If the seat moves to a different location things may be working ok. The original key should return the seat to where you left it.

thanks mate but thats the problem. I cant actually set the memory they dont beep at all and Ive lost the double beep you usually hear when you press the M button. would I have to get my key reprogrammed to the car perhaps??

How long was the battery disconnected? Maybe try leaving longer.

Have you tried another personal key?
