    Default standard cats HELP!

    has anyone got any standard cats for vz 04 model auto? think my original are blocked bad giving me terrible acceleration...let me no price etc

    Get aftermarket cats, cheaper, better performance, easier to find. If you get 100cpsi(cells per square inch) cats, it will be borderline legal, 200cpsi is a better bet.

    Why dont you check them first?

    Most mechanics have a vacuum/pressure guage that screws into the oxy sensor hole. The pipes should read at the guage slight vacuum if they are running efficiently. If theres too much pressure then the cats or mufflers are restricting.

    cheers...il do that i ant really interested in hi flows at the moment just wanta see whats causing this slugish bad acceleration response!
