Hi all,
Stupid me hit an island in the middle of the road with my front drivers side wheel.
Hit it straigh on so not a side swipe.
I've got HSV wheels on FE2 suspension and the tyre now rubs on the bottom of of the spring flatform :-( ................ (there was only a very small gap to begin with)
To get home i put a standard wheel on and everything is sweet ie no rubbing and drives straight.
I've had a look (in the dark) and I cant see anything that is bent (daylight may be different)
Any ideas what would be bent or shifted that would cause the top of the wheelto rub against the strut?
Where does the VY get camber adjustment from? ie it now has too much negative camber - if camber is adjustable then maybe if just moved that - dunno, just ideas!!
Cheers in advance :-)
sorry man cant help you bad luck hope it all goes well
I did the same thing last year.
Ended up being the steering colum that needed replacement. But it doesn't sound like the case with you.
Take it somewhere that they do re alignments, they'll spot it.

Don't take it to pedders
You have probably bent the strut.
mate at the start of the year i hit a wombat on steroids at 110 in my vz, and the only thing that i needed other than a new front bar was a wheel allignment, there pretty tuff cars.
