    Default VZ Alloytec 6 Speed Manual Oil

    Wondering what oil you use for your 6 speed gearboxes, i was told Castrol GSL 75w 80 by a holden service department. Coulsnt find it on a shelf
    Life starts at 200km/h

    That's better the being told that you don't change the oil in the gearbox like I was. I'll have to see if we can get it through the oil supplier at work.

    Castrol recommend VMX 80. Although some of the drill down menu's on the site say refer to dealer for '06 on?

    Penrite recommend Sin Manual Trans 75W-85.

    Shell (if you can find it) SPIRAX S4 AT 75W-90.

    Chances are with the correct viscosity the oils will be good regardless of brand.

    When I do mine I'll probably price up the penrite and castrol
