Km's going up too quickly???

Just took a 10min drive to the fish&chip store and before I went my Km's sat on 151,700 exact.

Came back home 10minutes later, 151,704.

Is this normal? I did not think Km's went up so fast?
speed was 50 there and back.

sounds right to me, unlikely for a new car to have odo problems, they either work or they dont no gears or stuff to play up.

Yeah, my Odometer read 151,700 when I turned the engine on. By the time I turned it off (about 10minutes later) 151,704

I know mate, before i drove to work today my odometer said 154600 and when i arrived it said 154620. Its only a 20 kilometre trip and i couldn't believe it either !!

Next time just drive there and reverse back then the kays will stay the same so you didn't really go anywhere . so you didn't really eat those fish and chips you just bought did you ? ,but then you won't be hungry so you won't need to go to the fish and chip shop , but you didn't go there in the first place . Don't believe me do you ? Well just go and check the kays on odometer , they haven't changed have they . its all in your mind .
