Hey All,
Finally upgraded my set of wheels to a VZ Commodore,
Have done a few small mods and am looking for somewhere to get the car tuned on a dyno. Thought i would ask the question before starting to call around
Yes I do realise that this will be in the ball park of $$1000ish
The question remains though, Who of you drive a VZ in Perth and have had it tuned, Your experiences and recommendations are welcome.
From my researching on the forums, Seems that a VCM Tuner / HP Tuner is what is needed to get into the factory ecu, Can someone confirm that?
Yes, I realise i can get more HP outa an 8 so please refrain from clogging the thread with those remarks / negativity.
I notice you are SOR, and I hear Pro Auto: Your Car Service Specialists are very good so try contacting them and see what they will charge for a VCM tune (yes this is what is required for the Alloytec V6). I had mine done for around the 800-850 mark at a place in Wangara, certainly goes harder now than before they had it!![]()
