    Default Metal in the oil?

Hi All, first post so i hope i dont stuff it too much. How big a problem do i have, changed the oil this morning and after draining it back into the container i found a lot of small metal filings in the bottom of the oil drain pan. The motor is an alloytec. Currently has 111,000 on the clock.
I change the oil every 5000 K with magnatec. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I think i attached the photo o.k they are very small and a dark color, not shiny really

how big are these filings in the oil? maybe try a different type of oil as magnatec is a bit magnetic, not sure if it would change anything though...

Hmmm... not sure about what could be causing this specifically. Normal wear and tear.

But, now that you have identified that there isan issue, you can get powerful magnets that you stick to your oil filter and they will trap any metal shavings that are going through your oil system.

I would suggest looking into one of these?

    Good luck.

Will not work on Alloytec due to the oil filter setup.

As heyitsenricopallazzo said i dont think it will work on the alloytec due to having a cartidge oil filter setup

Looks like nothing to worry about to me.

Do they stick to a magnet (ferrous)?

I wouldnt be overly concerned with them, bit of shit, but nothing to worry about. Make sure your funnel is clean when filling up.
