Default Removing the adhesive which holds on the chrome strip.

Hey guys I bought a second hand front guard and it came with the black strip underneath the indicator. Just wondering on how I can go about removing this without damaging the paint?

    Thanks

Try searching the forum for phrases like "debadge" "remove" etc. Heaps of people have done it. One thread to try:

how to remove door moulds (and sikaflex) the Joe Blow way.

I think it damages the paint unless you use a carmel wheel or something along those lines. Pain in the ass from what I've read.

From descriptions in some of the threads there is no damage and not much effort

Heat gun from Bunnings or eBay. Prepsol, not so sure. Again, some of the threads should identify where others get things. Search on the word and see what you find.

Prepsol is just wax and grease remover. Any paint shop will have it. Bunnings etc or maybe even SCA will have it.
