    Default Check engine light after plug change

    i changed the plugs in the usual way, i didnt disconect the battery tho. i did have the key out of the ignition for the netire process. now an orange icon lights my dash. any suggestions as to what i did wrong?

    Double check that you've plugged everything back in as it should be.

    make sure they are torqued correctly. Alloytec is a cry baby at times, and chances are you are suffering from it being too tight or loose.

    I did the same on a VE yesterday and founf that the plug right on the back of the manifold was still unplugged. It's pretty hard to see. Even after I plugged it in and started the car the engine light was still on so I had to plug in the scan tool and clear all codes for it to go out.

    or disconnect the battery for half hour, that clears most faults off the screen
