    Default vz starting problem

Hi I bought a vz exec. wagon 2 years ago and it has always had an annoying starting problem, I always mention it when I get a service but to no avail, wondering if anyone here can help. It only occurs after driving somewhere and letting sit for about 20 mins. to 2 hours, it cranks roughly and then sounds like the motor is running but nothing happens if you put your foot on the accelerator pedal, it then says check power train on dash. At this point I turn it off and try again and it starts normally. It had 100k on the clock when I bought it and now has 150k. My mechanic says the computer readout says my left oxy sensor is a bit slow but doesn't think this would be the cause.Any ideas? its embarrassing when visiting people.

Take you address down. Moana is close enough.

Apart from that I can't help.

What no takers, perhaps if I explain more details someone might recognise the problem.
1: Starts o.k. when hot or cold but not when warm.
2: Cranks erratically then sounds like motor is running but very softly and there is no response if you put foot on acc. pedal or slip it into drive,( no change in revs)
3: Check power train and motor symbol flashes( instead of system check o.k.)
4:Turn off then on again and starts o.k. second time.
Surely I'm not the only punter to have this problem? I have had it at Hamilton Holden twice, Adrien Brien ford, and a few small places but they all say that unless it occurs when the computer is plugged in its a stab in the dark, plus they are always so busy they just shunt you through.
This vz is a load of crap, my old vs was a much better car and I miss it heaps.
