hey, i know there have been a few threads about 1/4 mile times for the alloytecs, but they are all dead and had not too much information within them, but if anyone has taken their vz down the 1/4, post up your times as such:
60' -
ET -
MPH -
Mods-
il go first.
60' = 2.296
ET = 15.256
MPH = 93.19
Mods = mace manifold spacer, twin 2.5 catback exhaust, Executive intake pipe
will be going to willowbank tomorrow night, as i have a new diff, and im hoping to bring it into the 14's as an untuned alloytec
I know your after times and that here but just curious how the spacer goes in your car Is it a worthwhile mod? I have a full 2.5" system with pacemaker extractors on my car and the spacer was going to be my next improvement I just curious ob the gains
well, my best before was a 15.3 without spacer in October last year, so i guess it took off .1 down the 1/4. there is a noticable gain at takeoff and in the very lower rpm. i bought them for cheap though, thats why i have them haha
Have you done the 2 hole mod Richard?
I'd be interested to see the difference in times with and with out.
Brendan
Ah yes I have done the 2 hole mod, and personal experience with it compared to a pod down the 1/4 was a loss of .3 with the pod, they're useless
Id say Pod. "With a loss of .3 with the pod"
Iv'e heard that a pod does sweet F all

took the car out and while humidity was fairly high, pulled a 15.136 @ 92.43MPH with a 60' of 2.236.
when the humidity is not so high, and doesnt look like its going to rain for the following days after drags, will go out there to retest the gears, as it seemed fairly slow. there wasnt much traffic out there, so it looks like the pros knew when to not go out haha.
