    Default V6 SVZ Wagon problem

    Hi there,

This is a little embarrassing but I don't want to ask my husband. I know he won't bother with this thread because I wrote V6 in the title

Somehow I was pressing buttons and the speed alarm thing turned on in the dash at 60 km/h and it's driving me crazy. How do I turn it off???

With it on the display panel, press the up arrow until it gets to over the max speed you think you will do. To get it gone properly, when you turn the ignition on enter the setup mode and follow the instructions.

Possibly by pressing the up and down arrows at the same time (when the option is on the screen) it sets it to your current speed.

Speed alert cant be removed as far as i know, just set it to to maximum (around 200) usually and it wont be a problem anymore.

When you turn the key you have the option to enter setup mode. In here you should be capable of turning it off. Either that or take your husbands car.

Yeah well the bastard wouldn't get me the Q7 like I wanted so I have to put up with the bogan wagon. Thanks for your replies so far, (except you Reaper, guess you like sleeping on the couch??), I did try that Capricious but I couldn't find it in the setup menu.

I would drive the VP but it doesn't go, husband needs to get working on it.

I think I'll have to take the E3 to mother's group this week then.

Just went to the stupid length of getting the manual from the car.

"press and hold the set button for at least 2 seconds (when this display is showing) to turn the overspeed warning on or off."

We want photos of the E3 going to mothers group. Then photos of it being traded for a Q7.
