Hi guys i havent found a "how to" in this particular case, i (yes i admit i like to go fast) had a little accident in my 04 VZ SV6. apparantly its a common occurancei bent the rear control arm but replaced that and screwed by wheel alignment at the front now there i have a slight void, nothing too serious and so far i have fixed nearly everything to a total of just over $300..so much cheaper than paying someone else. now the final step to repairs is replacing the wheel bearing in the front right hand wheel. i bought one from a wholesaler (about $160) and id prefer to do it myself if possible to save on the labor costs
any help/advice would be awesome.

First question - did you ensure the hub you bought has provision for ABS?
Assuming you have the correct hub, this is the process. Pardon the steps which seem obvious but safety is essential.
1. Jack up front of car and place on stands - don't just leave it on the jack.
2. Remove wheel.
3. Remove top caliper retaining bolt from slider pin, push top of caliper forward and remove pads.
4. Slide caliper off lower mounting and hang caliper from front spring with a piece of wire.
5. Unbolt caliper bracket (2 bolts) NOTE Some guys leave the caliper attached and just remove the caliper and bracket together. It's your choice.
6. Remove disc. It could be seized on the hub - usually are - so spray hub with penetrating oil and tap disc off lightly from behind, rotating the disc to ensure it comes away squarely.
7. Disconnect ABS connection from back of hub,
8. Remove three bolts holding on the hub using a 10mm allen key. They will be very tight as they have Locktite applied when new.
Installation is a reverse of this process.
