SVZ makes a squeaky noise??!
Ok so my car when I'm driving , only sometimes though not all the time , makes this squeaky noise, I don't know what it is but it's really annoying . Comes from the back end .
Also I got new wheels the other day , set of VE SS' and when we changed the wheels over I was in a bit of shock because the inner guards on both sides at the back, looks like the wheels were scrapping really bad as there is a big black tyre mark that goes all the way around, like a burnout Mark ... Yet my old wheels never scrubbed and neither do my new ones ....
If anyone has a clue what it is can they please enlighten me ?? =[
did you go up inches or width? that would be the reason the tyres scaped, and the sqeaking? i had a similar sound coming from the rear and front occasionally, but when i checked it was just really crap springs that were sqeaking if its not suspension or going up a tyre size then im not sure duder

It made the noise before I changed tyres too
I'm hoping it is just the Suspension cos I'm upgrading it all soon anyway
Does it only happen when you go over like bumps or potholes or turn either left or right?
Its either the Rear sway bar bushes are worn or the bar has a crack in it

I think it may have fallen out when I was driving yesterday on the back passenger side cos I heard I clunk and then something hit the inner guard when I was driving and must have fell out .
Should I be worried about driving without them?? And how much are they to replace??
I wouldn't advise driving with it out at all because you will more than likely twist your chasiss out off alignment which
Means your car is ####ed if it gets bad... Have no idea on price for one though
Ok so took it for a quick check at a mechanics ... Not the sway bars .. Not the suspension .. Not anything loose or anything missing.. They have no idea what it is .. not happy =[
I have a similiar problem.
Whenever i wash my car it seems the two front tyres sqeak.
For the last week, i hadn't washed it and there was no squeak. As soon as i gave it a shower, it starts sqeaking again.
Can someone please tell me what is going on??

If it is it could be a dry universal joint in your tail shaft.

The tail shaft has to come out and sometimes the exhaust has to be dropped before a new one can be fitted. Make a quick phone call tomorrow and ask for a quote.
They are a regular replacement item in mechanical workshops and usually the first thing that causes a problem in the driveline.
If you've driven through much water lately (and if Woop Woop is in Qld or NSW you probably have) they'll pack it in pronto if the seals in the joint were crook.
