VZ Commy tint. Reccomendations?

Hey guys. Was looking into getting some window tint done on my commy. Iv got a bloke lined up for next weekend if i give him the all clear. The film this bloke uses is from llumar.com a company in america which looks pretty decent and the tint is distributed by mep.com.au,then this guy installs it at your house for $230.

My problem is with the laws over here in w.a, the bloke recomended either 18 or 20% on rears and legal on the front (which i thinnk is 35%?) and from what i've been reading its better to have the same all round and i've had enuff issues with the cops pulling me over "randomly". Any advice on looks/darkness of tint wuld be appreciated. Also if anyone knows of anyother places in w.a that do good dealson tint aswell?

i think its purely up to you when i got my car it had 18% on it and never had any trouble, so recently keep the rear window 18% and the sides are 5% havent had trouble find if i get pulled over at night i just turn the interior light on and the car lights up like a fish bowl only trouble is kerb parking. btw my tint is 3M

My car was tinted 12 years ago with Solar Tinting Centre film. I think it's 30% or so, which is not very dark. But it's obviously extremely good quality to have lasted this long with no issues, fading, etc at all. I wouldn't go darker than 20%.

wat bout insurence company's? apparently if your involved in an accident they can tell you to f*** yaself if they find out your tint is darker than legal on front?
