Price of vz key

Hey guys just a quick question what would be the price to get a key cut for my ss and were to go ........... Cheers!!!

Mr Minit does them, I bought mine from Holden, ended up getting a Chev key as it was $10 cheaper ($55 from memory)

If your key just has a flat battery have you tried replacing the battery? You can buy the correct battery from Jay Car Electronics. You can also get aftermarket shells with new rubber buttons off e-bay if that's waht's busted on yours

Any locksmith can do them, don't go to holden as they will overcharge you for it.

Holden just end up taking the keys to their local locksmith anyway and charge ontop of what the locksmiths charge initially. Skip the middleman!

Is that the same for all vz keys? I forked out $160 for my key(from holden).

Holmart and others stock. All you need to do is get it programmed.

Sorry, it's been more expensive to others and anyway, $75 helps alot when you go to uni full time and have a casual job. When i can save money i do.

If u only need the key cut cause the metal part snapped it's about $15 at most keycut places cause u can still use the same shell with it's programed memory.
