Head and Cam package

Just bought a 2005 vz ss ute. 6 speed manual 45,000kms.
Been doing some research and havent really found any hard facts on the upgrades id like.

My plan is too go to oztrack and get there 420kw package

Oztrack LS1-GTX Camshaft 600
Imported CNC ported heads with premium dual valve springs
Moly pushrods to suit.
25% underdrive kit fitted at the same time
Cometic head gaskets 308ARP
new block head bolts 185
Morel lifters 554
Duspeed OTR 700
Yella Terra Roller Rockers
Tune on Dyno

apparently produces 325 - 345 rwkw ......

Any idears, Yes? No? other options, any feedback would be much appriciated

p.s car has full di filippo exhaust

Yella terra rockers and a cam - why not just a bigger cam?

Is yours a 5.7L or 6L?

Highly recommend oztrack ive got there HPS cam pack and tune in my ve and love it! will be getting some of their heads later on too

You've got an L98 don't you? They have awesome heads stock.

I do, apprently there not too bad but with a head change i can gain around 25 - 30rkw with my setup, which is fairly decent

Yeah its the oztrack HPS cam which is fairly big, biggest you can go with stock heads anyway and is too big for autos lol the next cam up from it is a race only type of cam not very good driveability with it, where as mine drives like it has a small cam

ls1 yes, well im just going for a package deal. Thinking its a more bang for your buck.

ball pack 8 - 9 grand. Hence why i asked for othe options, supercharge and so on

Pretty sure you'll be looking at closer to $15,000 for a supercharger. As with the LS1 if you really want to make power with forced induction you'll need to upgrade engine internals for sure.

Yeah the kits them self (for ve anyway) range from about 8 - 12, then u got all the labour, tuning ect and any problems you come across, so would be looking all up anywhere between 15 - 18 grand totally finished

Then depending how much power u make, u mite have to make other upgrades to the drivline brakes ect which will start getting fairly expensive

yes, so im thinking the option im going with is the only way.
just wanted to no if anyone had the exact same setup. Seems to be a very competitive price for what you get from oztrack , and power .
