Default Lowering VZ S Ute w/ Superlows - QUESTIONS

Yo, Ive been reading a multitude of threads on Jc.com regarding lowering Vz's, but signed up to clarify a few things....

I have just bought a VZ S Ute and want to lower it, from picture's ive seen, King Superlows give it a nice height without being too inpractical. The lower the better, though my old Laurel was 35mm from the ground, so Ive had enough of being ridiculously low.

I rang King and they quoted me $170 and $190 for the pairs, then found these:
Rear: VZ COMMODORE UTE SUPER LOW REAR KING SPRINGS *NEW* | eBay
Front: VZ COMMODORE UTE SUPER LOW FRONT KING SPRINGS *NEW* | eBay
Ive checked the part numbers and they're correct, are these genuine King's? If so im buying them today/tommorow.....

All mechanics/shops have said DO NOT Put in lower springs without doing shocks/struts, but I presume its common practice to only replace springs.
If I just put in King Superlows with standard shocks/struts will it still have a nice smooth ride or will it be a bit dodgy? (Im pretty fussy with handling, the way I drive, Im always in a 'rush')
If I do replace Shocks/Struts (to go with King Superlows) what is the best option, taking price into account? Definately on a budget. I was told Monroes are rubbish. Links to good deals...?

I'm aware I may need Camber arms in the rear, but want to get it dropped first before I even consider that. Any help is much Appreciated!

Only when not changing the ride height dramatically...

    Ive just been quoted:

    $935.00

    King Spring Superlows all round
    Boge Shock/Struts all round
    Completely Fitted
    Wheel Alignment

    Will this handle nicely?
    Is it a good price?

Looking at going ahead with it at this stage....

Boge don't do a shortened shock at all to suit the back of Ute, so you'll be getting full length shocks with dampening to suit softer springs, so your ride quality would deteriorate.

The shock that we use in back the of VU-VZ utes is a shocks called Oztec, which are a very specialized shock, which are specifically designed for lowered utes, and are a large 60mm body. This retains good ride quality whilst providing sufficient dampening for both loaded and unloaded utes. As per our link above, our kit with KYB and Oztec shocks, with King springs is $795, a bit more than the sedan kit, but those Oztec shocks insure that no ride quality is lost with the ute when lowered.
