Default Using Spacers on the front of my SV6 to fit VE18" SV6 wheels to avoid the Sturts

    Hey guys
Need some advice on what to do here
Brought some VE wheels to fit my VZ
Had the centers bored out to suit the VZ
When i had these fitted the front rubbed against the struts
I have been told use spacers on the front wheels to avoid this

Any advice on what i should do here

    Thanks in advance

1+ for this one , Are they the same tyres that came with the VE rims ? Because VE's have massive guards

Yeah mate same tyres and i know that this is the issue.. they are 245/45/R18.. I've been told they might fit if they where 235/45/R28.. but if i can avoid changing the tyres and putting this spacer in then that would be awesome.. if the spacer is not an option then what would be the right Tyre size to obtain as i don't want to fork out to much for tyres i cant use

    Cheers for the responses

Im running VE SS-V rims 245/35/19 with no issues on my VZ.

    Dont use spacers.

What tyres do VZ normally run from factory in 18" ?

Spacers are not legal in most states and will void insurance.

OK they should be 235/40R18 to stop rubbing and keep the speedo correct.

The profile is wrong for a VT-VZ which should be 40 series not 45 series, use either 235 or 245/"40"x18 tyres and you should have no fitment problems.
With 45 series the overall diameter of the wheel/tyre combo is too tall.

Thanks boys.. That's all the advice i need.. Going hook these wheels up ASAP with the 235/40/18 as they will look fresh on my VZ.. good idea to not use the spacers would not like to void my insurance that's for sure.. again thanks for the advice.. muchly appreciated
