thud sound at low speeds vz auto ute

hey guys iv just noticed a thud/shutter sound when im creeping foward or backwards, its an auto and when reversing on flat ground when the tranny is only just ingaging there is a thud noise every 1 or 2 seconds, im thinking possiable uni joint? has anyone got any ideas? and how much will a uni joint set me back? :S

Yeah mate I got the same thing in my sv6 sedan.. I'm pretty sure it's got excessive crown wheel backlash which is why tthere is a thud at low speeds
