    Default 0 Gauge wire

Well ive got a VZ MY06 Commodore Executive and have soundstream P1.1300 amp with a kicker L7.
I'm wondering where to get 0 gauge wire, and if 0 gauge wire is overkill or necessary.

    Cheers.

Try electrical wholesalers. Haymans, Turks etc. Otherwise, Dick Smith, Tandy possibly (if they still stock stuff). Jaycar or other electronic shops.

Is it overkill? Does the specs for the devices specify minimum gauge?

thanks for the quick response, I will check those shops out and see how I go.
well I dont have the manual for the amp so not really sure. But Sub are rated at 1500w/750RMS and amp pushes out 1300w, Just dont want any performance issues of underpowered.

Well 0 gauge is good for welding cable :P 2 gauge is still pretty extreme. Should be fun getting into the firewall. Better to have headroom though. That kit looks decent.
