Well this problem as happend in the past very rarely so i didn't pay much attention to it.
But recently the car wont turn on every now and then, I jst put it though a service and the computer comes up with service soon. The only way to turn the car on is to switch off the ignition, lock the doors then unlock them then turn it back on, and also comes up with random error messages every now and then.
Taken it to some mechanics for couple of days and they couldnt diagnose the problem.
I'm thinking theres something wrong with the starter motor and then the security system kicks in and wont let it turn on.

maybe the immoboliser isnt making contact on the key? mechanics is your best bet so they can scan it
looks alot like its the immoboliser as Slipper said.

Looks like an ignition problem as it didn't disable when you unlocked the car the first time... the security warning light was flashing the first time which basically gives it away. Best bet is to see an Auto electrician i'd say.
Make sure the ring around the key barrel isnt getting stuck in, it should spring out to make contact with the key.
Silver Certified.
To me it seems that either your starter motor or the Flywheel has got some problem.I have 2005 Lumina LTZ,When i try to start the engine,it gives me some "tak ,Tak,tak" sounds from downside engine and it does not crank at all.I brought a mechanic,he opened starter motor, rotated flywheel by his hands and then put back the starter motor. The car is perfeclty starting back normally. But mechanic said to be that flywheel has to be replaced since some of its sharp Edges(i dont know what to call them technically) are broken and when engine is stopping in a position where they have to meet starter motor, then engine is not cranking again.
use a small screw driver to bend the metal tabs out on the ignition barrel... also use a lil silvo and clean the contacts on the key and barrell
