I have an EH Ute and I am using a V6 VZ as a donor. I want to use the engine gearbox, steering column in the EH. I am looking for a good wiring diagram so I can figure out what I can remove from the loom.
Also any advice would be very helpfull.

done it with a SV6 what a nightmare its is still play with it.got vz ute pov pack no ext on it like abs,tc,esp, ete its v6 6 speed manaul got a lot of work to it but timming chain loose from hard time' got the noise on start up like no oil in it but goes after 5 sec or so but was get louder and louder evey time.so i got an SV6 for $1500 right off front end hit but motor ok.it is auto paddel shift had all the ext shit on it like abs,tc,esp, and was a sedan not a ute.clutch and timming kit was going to cost a shit load, clutch from holden is about $2200 just parts no labour, timming chain $1700 from repco just parts,my clutch was not the best starting to slip when you give it a hard time ok till it got hot.so i was up for a bit when you look at all that so that why.
so i put the Sv6 motor in and the box,had to put the computer in for the auto, then no start so i looked that the wiring in the SV6 and found there computer all up changed them all and off she went but shit loads of faults abs fault dont have, esp fault dont have,tc fault, plug in computer at mate's work no good computer cant read it and comes up with no faults,a nother mate tryed hes laptop with a good program it was the same.
you need the BCM and body control to match up plus the asb and auto computer if auto so it is hard to do if you dont know what you are doing
i would say use a ecotec as timing chain can take a good trashing and dont strech like a bitch and also the ecotec has only one chain not like the alloytec i give my allytec the hardest time you ever seen so know what im talking about ecotec 300k hard driving (very very hard 3 boxes later)motor still like 100k
i can get it going for you but you need loom from a pov vz ,or what do you have ?
drop me a line and ill help you out with some pointers or some hints
cheers brad
