Ok so ive been getting some conflicting information with my Lumina's suspention.
Build plate says its standard, but i've heard/read people saying they have FE1.5
Can anyone shed any light on this mythical FE.15?
Im certain the VZ 05 luminas dont have sports suspension ie FE
fe1.5 is a bit higher than fe2, but lower than standard i think
FE1.5?
Here's the archived official Press Release from Holden
Did a search - don't know how good the info is though:-
fe1 = standard
fe1.5 = lowered with soft ride (luxury sports suspension tune)
fe2 = lowered with a heavy duty (sports suspension tune)
FE 2.5 and FE 3 in VE's
pretty much as mentioned, its a Calais style thing
Holden have issues understanding as well, to them its either standard or FE2, and its marked on the plate as STD.
We went to hell and back trying to find a suitable replacement for a VZ Calais.
I remember putting the details up from the service manual as well, and the ID codes. I'll see if I can find it.
the argument we had with Holden was just to order what the car had on the system with the VIN decode in, but we then learnt that the VIN decode didnt decode it on the Calais, it would still give different options and their not called FE1 FE2 FE1.5 because that makes sense, their all a weird code.
I cant find the upload, either I didnt do it or I didnt do it here, but I did have all the info about spring height unsprung etc. Theres a minor difference in it as mentioned and Im pretty sure it was just the calais and possibly lumina that had it.
