Oil gets black pretty fast, especially if its a lower quality I noticed.
Was the oil real thick as well, or have any white in it? Have you tried a bottle of octane boost? If there is water in the fuel that normally helps burn it out faster.

Not a dirty air filter? you might need your spark plugs changed too

Thick black oil is a bad sign and usually means a sludged engine.

Take out the oil filter and see if its caked in thick sludge.

You should be able to take the filter out without dropping the oil, but if its thick it may be worth dropping anyway

No you dont have to drop the oil to check the filter mate.

Lets us know what it looks like and we'll see what to do next.

Depends how bad the sludge is.

If its really bad get the engine hot and drain all the oil out.

Fill with cheap oil and a couple of bottles of engine flush and idle for about 30 mins.

Drain oil and refill with good oil and fit a new filter.

There is a risk that the engine flush will cause the dislodged sludge to block the oil pickup and cause oil starvation but this hasnt happened to me yet and Ive done a few. Just stay with the car the whole time and if it starts to rattle or knock shut it down straight away.

How would I fix it if it dose cause oil starvation and what sort of oil do u recommend to put in its done 130k and do i have to use the same type of oil to flush and to fill it it for example flush it with 10 30 and fill it with 10 30
And do I fill it with cheap oil till it shows as full then add bottle of engine flush or do I mix them and then fill it

Dose any1 here live in Melbourne

If it did block the pickup the sump would need to be removed and the pickup and clean it all out.

Just use cheap shit oil to flush anything close to 10/30 is fine, make sure the engine is hot then put a couple of bottles of flush in then add oil till on the full mark.

Then let it completely drain let it sit for half hour draining then put good oil in.

After that change the oil and filter every 5000kms.

No guarantees but its cheaper than a new engine or complete rebuild.

Just gotta undo the intake manifold bolts so you can lift it up enough to get access to some of the coilpacks/plugs. Dont have to actually remove it.

Just dont undo to front right and rear left bolt because if you do the manifold will seperate and may tear the gasket. The right rear bolt is a bastard to get to as well.
