I have recently purchased a low KM VZ SS here with a good service history.
As the car is now 5+ years old - I am looking to ensure reliability.... its bloody hot here in Muscat (50 deg days are common for 3+ months each year)
Should I be changing the radiator hoses and belt?
Does the Auto transmission need to be flushed
What is the type of coolant that should be installed ?
below is a list I found on a holden serevice centre site ( i have mixed the 40k service with the 60 month / 120k service)

just use the 40k service as a guide
if your brake fluid hasn't been changed it would be worth it especially in Oman, definitely do the coolant preferably red GMH (holden) coolant
the trans won't need flushing unless oil is really dark (highly doubt it) - just get a new filter and 4L gearbox oil
yep service as 40k pages says
