Just read in a post "i just done my head gaskets and machined and pressure tested the heads plus vrs kit done the labour my self cost me $360" nice effort. Does this sound correct? or am i dreaming![]()
My Vz alloytech has oil in water
Just wondering if anyone has any pointers, i'm a fitter-turner so I understand machinery breakdown/maint but i'm not very exp in open engine although i have seen how peeps protect the seal surfaces from damage on another thread.
Anyhow just wondering which manual is the best? what parts/kits are best?...is Kero the best cleaner?...torque wrench i have, i have all tools...anything i may need?
It seems like a strait forward job that will take a while.
