    Default Largest tyres without modification?

Just wondering what the largest tyre is that would be able to be fitted without any modifications?

Currently have 17s on and there is a lot of room from the tyre to the wheel hub.

    Cheers.

How large a tyre you could fit would be seriously affected by the offset of the wheel too. The same tyre on one wheel will not even fit on the car because of lack of clearance, yet be just fine on a different wheel.

You need to look at wheels and tyres as a whole, not two parts.

As has been said, depends also on the rim you fit it on. I'd imagine you could fit a 275/30 with the correct size / offset wheel. With a light guard roll and a reasonable height. If it was crazy low then things would change, similarly if the suspension was very tall.

With VE offset rims I just fit 245/35/19s with SSLs and unrolled guards.

I have superlows with 245/30/20 unrolled, they just fit. But only because the rear suspension is independent.
